Professional Paper and Photograph Conservator, Artist and Illustrator
Licensed conservator by Ministry of Culture in paper conservation
After graduating from university and completing internships abroad (specialized in paper and photograph conservation), she deals with conservation and restoration of paper objects including graphics, maps, plans, deeds, documents, invalid historical banknotes and other paper based works created up to size of 29,7 x 42 cm (11,7 x 16,5 in). Next, she deals with the conservation/restoration of paper photographs like salted paper/ albumen/ gelatin/ collodion prints and others which are paper based. She also restores photographic negatives on glass, photographs created by techniques of daguerreotype, ambrotype, ferrotype and pannotype, including their original mounts or housing as well. She does not primarily deal with digital restoration.
As an artist and illustrator, she likes applying her hand-made colors, which she prepares herself from natural clays and dyes. She paints mainly on traditional papers from East Asia, but also manufactures natural paper sheets on her own. In addition, she also illustrates books, calendars and cards. Her artworks are represented in collections in Czech Republic and abroad as well.

Born in 1988 in Prague, Czech Republic.
Education:
2006 – 2010 The Vaclav Hollar College and Secondary School of Fine Arts
2010 – 2015 College of Vaclav Hollar (Drawing and Illustration in Media)
2012 – 2019 Academy of Fine Arts and Design (Restoration of Paper Artworks and Photographs)
Internship:
2016 – Slovak national library, Martin, Department of restoration and conservation under the supervision of Mgr. Peter Oravec)
Project: conservation of historical bookbindings a restoration of historical banknotes
2019 – Institut national du patrimoine, Paris, Atelier of photography conservation under the supervision of Mrs Anne Cartier-Bresson
Specialized practical and theoretical study focused on monochrome photographic techniques, including procedures for their restoration, their identification and analysis of structures, restoration of negatives and films, conservation and restoration of daguerreotypes, techniques and procedures for restoration of analog and digital photographs made on paper, restoration and conservation of digital prints.
Project: History and technology of chromogenic print processes including the types of substrates and their development in time.
2019 – Archives nationales, Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, Atelier of restoration under the supervision of Mr Bertrand Sainte-Marthe
Project: Standard treatment with conservation of two autochromes included cutting of replacement protective glass, preparation of protective paper tape, testing of resin adhesive and subsequent gluing of glass fragments of autochrome.
